Why are you running for office?

The county needs new leadership and a transparent trajectory for our incredible growth we are experiencing now.

What would your top priorities be if elected?

Top priorities: balanced budget, no increases to property tax, transparent commissioners meetings, open to public engagement and completion of capital projects.

If elected, how would you work to accommodate the county's population growth?

Working with our master plan to meet the needs of Brazos County: transportation plan, health district needs, security and emergency management needs.

If elected, how would you prioritize transportation projects?

It is one of the highest priorities of the county to make sure folks can get through safely and timely.

If elected, how would you approach economic development throughout the county?

Economic development with this fast growing county is paramount. Continue to work with the cities, Texas A&M and the private sector to bring economically viable opportunities to Brazos County. Including workforce development and the living opportunities.

Why are you running for office?

I’m running to put taxpayers first—open books, honest numbers, and accountable results. Brazos County is growing fast, and we need steady leadership that prioritizes core services, plans infrastructure before crises hit, and makes decisions in public with a systemic process, not behind closed doors or without justification.

What would your top priorities be if elected?

1. Control spending and citizen driven budgeting. 2. Public safety readiness and support for first responders. 3. Infrastructure and drainage/flood resilience. 4. Smarter innovative transportation planning. 5. Veterans and family services and mental health services. Expand practical help and coordinated county partnerships.

If elected, how would you work to accommodate the county's population growth?

Plan growth instead of reacting, align roads, drainage, utilities, and emergency services with projected demand. Coordinate with affected citizens, cities, school districts and developers; require clear impact analysis; protect rural character where desired; and build a long-range capital plan tied to exact measurable performance and maintenance.

If elected, how would you prioritize transportation projects?

Use a published, data-driven scorecard: safety, congestion relief, freight/agriculture access, cost/benefit, readiness and maintenance impact. Fix what we have first, then expand strategically. Coordinate with MPO and cities, pursue grants and avoid politically “shiny” projects that don’t move traffic.

If elected, how would you approach economic development throughout the county?

Support balanced growth countywide: expand shovel-ready sites, reliable infrastructure and predictable permitting. Target good jobs that fit our workforce and protect power, water and land.
