The Texas A&M University System has appointed Cady Auckerman, most recently chief of staff for the advancement and administration portfolio at the College of Medicine, as its new assistant vice chancellor of advancement.

According to a news release, Auckerman has worked at Texas A&M University for more than two decades and has also worked for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and as the director of The Gardens. The university said Auckerman was also instrumental in the $12 million Leach Teaching Gardens fundraising and grant process.
Texas A&M University System Chancellor Glenn Hagar said Auckerman has been doing a very good job in her previous roles for a long time and was a great selection for this position.
“She has already helped deliver one of the most significant gifts in Texas A&M’s history and I’m confident she’ll bring that same judgment to advancement efforts across the whole A&M System,” Hagar said in a statement.
