As West University Place officials prepare for the upcoming fiscal year 2025-26 budget process, City Council accepted the 2025 water and wastewater proposed rate study onJuly 28, which advances potential rate changes to meet what officials called the city’s financial and conservation goals.
“We’re acknowledging we’re on the same page of how we move forward,” City Manager Dave Beach said. “Let’s just say in 2026 Council really wants to go a different way with the rate structure... we can always come back and modify the rate structure based upon reality.”
