Looking for things to do in around Bellaire, Meyerland and West University in early 2025? Check out these six events happening in and around these neighborhood in January and February. This list is not comprehensive and details are subject to change.
Winter Day Camp
Children between the ages of 5-10 can come to a day camp at Nature Discovery Center this winter and engage in science and nature themed activities, games, and art projects. Weather permitting, campers will spend the majority of the day outdoors. Campers must bring a refillable water bottle and pack lunch.
The Organic Horticulture Benefit Alliance nonprofit takes to the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center in Meyerland for a series of discussions on wildlife preservations, the resilience of native plants, the connections between human, environmental and animal health, organic pest management, and water conservation strategies. This event is catered towards individuals and businesses, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Monster Jam
This motorsports show at NRG Stadium will feature monster trucks doing daring stunts and tricks, including 12,000-pound vehicles standing on two wheels and flying through the air.

Houston Friendship 5K
This annual 5K run and 1K walk takes place at Godwin Park this year and supports individuals with disabilities, and aims to foster meaningful friendships. Proceeds benefit faith-based nonprofit The Friendship Circle.
