The fast casual Mexican restaurant, Chipotle, is gearing up to open a new store near the Texas Medical Center in early 2027.

A listing by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that the construction is set to start on the $400,000 renovation project in September, with a targeted completion date of February 2027.
The 3,600 square foot space was previously occupied by Comerica Bank, which closed in late 2025.
