April 12-14 Southwest International In-Water Boat Show
The largest in-water boat show in the Gulf is held each spring at South Shore Harbour Marina and allows attendees to view and board freshwater and saltwater boats anywhere from 10 to 100 feet in length. Bands play live music onshore, and more than 200 vendors sell entertainment, apparel, outdoor equipment and more. Noon-7 p.m. (April 12), 10 a.m.-7 p.m. (April 13), 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (April 14). 2551 S. May 3-4 League City Music Fest
This two-day festival includes several well-known musical acts and other activities for children and adults in a carnival-like atmosphere, including a barbecue cookoff, arts and crafts, street performers, painters and more. Walter Hall Park, 807 Hwy. 3, League City. www.lcmusicfest.com
May 4-5 Keels & Wheels Concours d’Elegance
The 24th annual Keels & Wheels Concours d’Elegance is a classic car and vintage wooden boat show hosted at the Lakewood Yacht Club in Seabrook. The show, which benefits Today’s Harbor for Children, will feature 100 years of Bentley as well as Lamborghini and Shelby vehicles, among others.
