As of the morning of July 11, CenterPoint has restored power for about 1.16 million customers impacted by Hurricane Beryl. According to the online outage tracker, 1.1 million customers still do not have power as of 10 a.m. July 11, and 2.26 million total customers were without power at some point due to Hurricane Beryl.
An additional 400,000 customers should have their power restored by the end of the day July 12, followed by another 350,000 customers by the end of the day July 14, officials said in the release.
Entergy Texas had restored power for just over half of its affected customers as of 7:30 p.m. July 10, according to the latest update available. Crews will continue working to restore 75% of customers' power by the end of the day July 12, officials said in a news release. Officials said a total of 252,460 customers lost power due to the storm.
