The owners with Friendswood Scoop Shop are expanding to League City with a new ice cream shop, and are expanding with Wayside Coffee Co., which currently operates through a mobile coffee trailer.

The coffee and ice cream shop will open a conjoined shop along Main Street in League City. This will be the first brick and mortar location for Wayside Coffee Co.
What they offer
League City Scoop Shop will offer small-batch ice cream made daily with local ingredients. Classic flavors include vanilla, strawberry, cookies and cream, sweet cream, milk chocolate, rich chocolate, lemon dream, mint Oreo, salted caramel and Wayside Coffee, among other flavors.
Wayside Coffee Co. offers lattes, including a "Your Way Latte" with syrup options, including mocha, vanilla, lavender, sage, salted caramel or sugar-free vanilla. Other coffee options include house-made cold brew, espresso tonic, honey lavender lattes and cold brew colas, which includes Coke, cold brew and cherry bitters.
Non-coffee options include matcha lattes with house sage simple syrup, earl grey tea, elderberry hibiscus iced tea and lavender hot cocoa, among other options.
