The Honor Choir will perform traditional Christmas carols in front of the Bastrop Museum and Visitor’s Center as part of the museum’s monthly concert and history series.
The Honor Choir is a nonprofit dedicated to honoring abused children. The choir was established by the choir’s director Bill Owens in 2009.
Providing a safe and supportive space for child survivors of abuse, the choir encourages survivors to express themselves through music.
“The holiday season is especially beautiful in Bastrop, and this year the Honor Choir will add even more joy and color,” said Nicole DeGuzman, executive director of the Bastrop Museum and Visitor Center, in a news release.
