Jazz group Juan Rangel Trio will perform at the Bastrop Museum and Visitor Center on Oct. 21 from noon-1 p.m. The event is part of the Music in the Museum monthly series, which is free to the public.

Composed of local musicians, the group features Juan Rangel on the saxophone, guitarist Colin Guerra and James Smith on bass. The trio will be joined by guest trombonist Ransom Stidham from McDade High School.
“We are excited to feature the Juan Rangel Trio at the Music in the Museum series,” said Nicole DeGuzman, executive director of the Bastrop Museum and Visitor Center, in a press release. “The trio is known for their energetic and engaging performances, and we are sure that our audience will enjoy their music.”
