Bastrop City Council canvassed the May 2 election results for Bastrop mayor during a May 12 meeting.
By the numbers
Incumbent Ishmael Harris received 84.57% of the vote, while challenger Joseph Stanfield trailed with 15.43%.
According to the Bastrop County Elections Office, 564 votes were cast in the race.
