Bastrop Pride is marking its fifth anniversary this June with a full month of events—from outdoor hikes to karaoke nights to a street fair. Here's how to get involved.
Celebrate at the Pride Street Fair
The centerpiece of Bastrop Pride's June calendar is its annual street fair featuring vendors, a kids zone, live entertainment, and community programming. The fair is free and open to all.
- June 5, 5-10 p.m.
- 1028 Main St., Bastrop (in front of Calvary Church)
Shop and Create at Bridges EmporiumOn the evening of the street fair, Bridges Emporium will host its own Pride celebration. Visitors can design and decorate their own sash, collect LGBTQ+ buttons featuring historical figures and strut the in-store catwalk. Additional activities include an affirmation tree, an ally chalk mural, and local art shopping. Refreshments will be provided.

Hit the Trail at the Pride HikeLace up and head outdoors with Bastrop Pride for a morning hike at Colorado River Refuge. Open to all fitness levels—just bring water, comfortable shoes and Pride spirit.

Grab the Mic at QueerokieSingers and supporters alike are welcome at "Queerokie," Bastrop Pride's karaoke night at Awaken Bastrop. Bring friends and your favorite songs for a night of queer joy and community.

Ride Together at the Pride Bike RideCap off Pride month on two wheels. Bastrop Pride's bike ride kicks off from Mike's Bikes with a community meetup before the ride begins. Bike rentals are available for $15 per hour—call to reserve since quantities are limited. Bring flags, friends and pride.
