A New York-style breakfast truck is slinging kaiser roll sandwiches in Northwest Austin, Bastrop's long-awaited Jersey Mike's has finally opened its doors and a Buffalo-born wing spot is gearing up in Cedar Park. Several more dining concepts are also making their debut across the region.

A New York-style breakfast option recently opened along Metric Boulevard in Northwest Austin. Located within the Shell station parking lot at the corner of Metric Boulevard and Cedar Bend Drive, the food truck offers a variety of breakfast sandwiches including eggs with an assortment of either sausage, bacon, turkey, ham, fresh avocado and more on a kaiser roll. The truck also offers chocolate muffins, blueberry muffins, banana bread and pumpkin bread as well as hot coffee, iced tea, orange juice, water and soda.
Offering community members access to local food and drink trucks, events and performances, this food truck park features multiple food vendors, including authentic Texas barbecue, birria and Mexican specialties, gourmet hot dogs, fresh-based kolaches and sweets, specialty coffee and more, as well as a general store offering handmade goods, gifts, jewelry, home decor, artisan products and vintage goods from local vendors.
La La Land Cafe’s new cafe is now serving specialty drinks and signature toasts for its soft opening at its second Austin location. The menu features a banana cloud latte, made with bananas, vanilla bean, a banana cloud top, La La Land’s secret sauce, cinnamon and a choice of espresso or ceremonial matcha. The cafe’s signature drinks also include the Upsidedown Latte, served with espresso or matcha, vanilla, caramel drizzle and milk. For light bites, La La Land offers two kinds of toast, according to its website, including a truffle burrata toast and a classic avocado toast.
This new location’s menu is crafted without gluten, dairy, seed oils, soy, refined sugar or GMOs. Menu highlights include grass-fed steak and eggs prepared with Texas wagyu sirloin, Thai lettuce wraps, salmon tartare, coconut curry squash and a range of pastas and proteins, such as the spinach pesto pasta. It pours up a range of juices, coffee, bone broth, smoothies, teas, wellness shots and house-made sodas as well as a variety of wine, draft beer, mocktails and signature cocktails.
Serving authentic Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine, Rice Stop aims to bring authentic flavors with dishes including staples like egg rolls, orange chicken, lo mein, banh mi, fried rice and vermicelli bowls. Rice Stop also offers a variety of boba tea options, such as classic milk teas, fruit-infused teas, and specialty drinks with customizable toppings like tapioca pearls, grass jelly, or fruit jellies.
This East Coast-style sandwich shop offers hot and cold subs made with freshly baked bread and stuffed with meats, cheeses and vegetables. The subs are also drizzled with a blend of red wine vinegar and olive oil. Originally expected to debut in mid-2025, the eatery experienced several construction delays; however, officials said the team is excited to finally welcome diners.
Buffalo-born Duff's Famous Wings is slated to open a new location near Lakeline Mall in June, according to a social media post by franchise owners. Duff's is known for its classic Buffalo-style wings, hot red sauce, celery sticks and blue cheese. The menu also includes fried favorites such as fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, cheese fries and more.
