Crust Pizza Co. will soon dish up Chicago-style flavor at Sendero—a 75-acre mixed-use development by Preal River Companies actively building along Hwy. 71 in Bastrop.
The details
As reported by Community Impact last November, spokesperson Melanie Chin said Crust Pizza Co. will open as part of Sendero’s first retail phase. Its interior and outdoor dining options will total approximately 2,850 square feet.
Construction, scheduled to conclude May 18, is estimated to cost $565,000, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Zooming in
Spencer Harkness, co-founder of Pearl River Companies, said businesses like Crust Pizza Co. reflect the “quality, warmth and approachability” that he and his business partners are seeking for Sendero.
“We’ve been intentional about curating tenants that create connection and add everyday value for the Bastrop community,” he said in a news release.
Mason Mote, co-founder of Pearl River Companies, echoed that sentiment and noted his excitement for Crust Pizza Co. to become a gathering place where families and friends celebrate milestones together.
“That’s what makes a development like this come alive,” he said.
What we know
Sendero will be developed in multiple phases through 2030, with its first retail and dining openings anticipated in 2026, according to Pearl River Companies.
