An approximately 14.76-acre mixed-use development called the Texas State Business Park has broken ground near Tahitian Village in Bastrop—a project developers with The Woodlands-based Newcor expect to bring jobs, services and long-term economic opportunity to the area.

Texas State Business Park will be located along Lovers Lane and will offer spaces ranging from 2,000 to 20,000 square feet, accommodating a variety of uses, including:

- Flex space
- Office space
- Workspace

Newcor. “Texas State Business Park is designed to meet that demand by offering versatile, high-quality space that supports local businesses while welcoming new companies to the area. We are proud to help bring a development to the market that will create opportunity and lasting value for the Bastrop community.”
The first phase of the Texas State Business Park is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026, and utilities are already in place, according to Newcor officials.
“With continued expansion from companies like Starlink and increasing activity in film and creative industries, the area is experiencing significant momentum,” said Bryce Leasure, marketing coordinator at Newcor, in a news release. “Texas State Business Park is designed to complement that growth by creating space for local businesses and new employers alike.”
