Lob‑Lolly Classic combines pickleball and philanthropy in Bastrop

When an investigation involves violent crimes or abuse, the Bastrop CAC is brought in to help. Trained staff conduct forensic interviews with the children involved, while a family advocate is assigned to support the child’s caregiver and connect them with available resources. The Bastrop CAC also offers access to a food pantry and clothing closet for families in need.

In 2024, the nonprofit organization served 1,276 individual clients, provided 3,394 hours of therapy and performed 352 forensic reviews, according to Bastrop CAC officials.

“We are deeply grateful to Double R Pickleball and our local sponsors for stepping up to support our work,” Meagan Webb, chief executive officer of the Bastrop CAC, said in a statement. “Every game played, every prize donated and every sponsorship secured helps fund trauma-informed care and healing for the children we serve.”
