As previously reported, the 64,000-square-foot, four-story hotel will combine Marriott's Fairfield Inn and TownePlace Suites on one property, with a shared lobby.
According to Marriott, the brands cater to different types of travelers: TownePlace Suites is tailored for extended stays while Fairfield Inn is designed for more traditional hotel stays.

A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing indicates construction could run through July 3, 2028; however, the project's chief development officer Nick Massad III said he expects the hotel to open in early 2028.
“We’re excited to introduce an elevated hotel experience to Bastrop,” he said. “Central Texas is growing fast, and we’re proud to be part of that momentum by investing in the community and expanding our presence in the region.”
