Daniel Schwalm
Daniel is a government reporter covering the northwest portion of the Austin area, including Cedar Park, Leander and Liberty Hill. Before joining Community Impact in December 2025, he worked as a producer at WGNO-TV, the ABC News affiliate in New Orleans. He graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a degree in journalism and English. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping and reading.
