Belly Up, a Hawaiian-inspired food trailer, has relocated to the Native South Food Park on Manchaca Road in early July.[/caption]

A local food trailer serving Hawaiian-inspired rice bowls and sliders filled with pork and other proteins moved just down the street in July from Indian Roller to the Native South Food Park, 10106 Manchaca Road.

Belly Up Owner Brenda Rodriguez said she traveled the world for years at places such as the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii.

"Some of the food I ate there in Hawaii inspired me to put something together for a food truck, thinking it would be fun," Rodriguez said.

Menu items include the trailer namesake Belly Up! rice bowl ($10) with braised pork belly, grilled pineapple, pickled red onions, cilantro, white sticky rice, a fried egg and brown gravy broth.

Belly Up is open from 7-10:30 p.m. on Tues. and 6-11 p.m. on Wed.-Sat.
