Balcones Pain Consultants, GenoRite Pharmacy and Water Leaf Surgery Center are open at 5200-B Davis Lane, Stes. 200, 110 and 100, respectively. waterleaf-mapBalcones Pain and GenoRite both relocated from their former locations at 4544 S. Lamar Blvd., while Water Leaf Surgery is a new operation. Balcones Pain doctors specialize in chronic pain, GenoRite fills prescriptions based on a person’s genetic history and Water Leaf Surgery Center is an ambulatory center for multiple specialties, including podiatry, orthopedic, pain and spine patients. A ribbon cutting ceremony for the three businesses is scheduled for Sept. 22, said Lauri Rose, Balcones Pain Consultants chief administrator. Construction for the three businesses began in October 2015. The businesses moved to the Waterleaf Medical Center to serve more patients, as well as serve them better, Balcones Pain owner and anesthesiologist Dr. Matt McCarty said. Tenants in the first two phases of Waterleaf Medical Center include Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery and Prosthodontics of Texas.
