On Tuesday, St. Elmo Brewing Co. offered a sneak peek at its brewpub, which will open Nov. 8 in The Yard development at 440 E. St. Elmo Road.

The facility includes a beer hall with indoor seating, a 15-barrel in-house brewing system and a 22-foot bar handmade by co-owners Bryan Winslow and Tim Bullock. A food truck on the property, Soursop, will serve Southeast Asian-inspired dishes.

The facility is scheduled to open to the public Nov. 8—Election Day.

“If you come in [on Nov. 8] with an ‘I voted’ sticker, we’ll give you a free half-pint,” Bullock said.

The brewpub offers housemade sparkling water and soda as well as cold brew coffee and a variety of housemade beers.

“One of our mantras is 'all the beer'—and we love pilsners and kölsch and IPA and stout and farmhouse ales. We love them all, so we’re not prejudiced in style,” Winslow said.

The company will begin to offer tours as well as beer-making classes sometime after it opens, he said.
