Dripping Springs ISD has announced all classes will be held remotely on Feb. 16 due to the winter storm and icy road conditions in the area.

According to the National Weather Service, the winter storm has made travel "difficult to near impossible." With 3 to 4 inches of snowfall expected and temperatures remaining in the single digits, icy road conditions will remain through Tuesday, according to the NWS.

The district cancelled classes on Feb. 12, and students have the day off Feb. 15 for President's Day while staff works remotely.
