The median home sales price in August for Southwest Austin and Dripping Springs decreased in all but two of the market’s eight ZIP codes. Meanwhile, the number of homes sold and average days on market saw little change year over year, according to data from the
Austin Board of Realtors.The detailsMedian home prices saw slight decreases in every ZIP code in Southwest Austin except 78736 and 78737, which saw an increase of 45.61% and 3.61%, respectively.
The average number of home sales dipped for half of the market's ZIP codes in August year over year, with 78748 seeing the largest decrease at 35% and 78736 seeing the biggest increase at 80%.
Half of the market's ZIP codes also saw slight decreases in days on market in August year over year.
Most homes in August were sold within a price range of $300,000 to $499,999.
