Baylor Scott & White's Austin Medical Center opens in Oak Hill

Baylor Scott & White Health opened its first full-service hospital in the city of Austin on Jan. 15 with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Austin. The hospital is located in the Oak Hill area at 5251 W. Hwy. 290, Austin, on the same campus as a recently opened multispecialty clinic.

“This medical center and clinic highlight our commitment to bring comprehensive care services to the Austin community in one convenient location. It is because of the community’s support and collaboration that we are now able to serve their healthcare needs through this facility,” said Jay Fox, the president for Baylor Scott & White in the Austin/Round Rock region, in a press release.


The hospital and clinic will coordinate care of 14 medical specialties, including orthopedics, podiatry, OB-GYN, general surgery, gastroenterology, dermatology, pain management, neurology, cardiology, urology, endocrinology, rheumatology, breast surgery and physical therapy.
