Austin-based urgent care telemedicine company Remedy has partnered with locally owned medical practice Premier Family Physicians to offer a new range of telemedicine and home visit services, according to an announcement from Remedy.

In an effort to provide more effective health care options during the coronavirus pandemic and generally, Remedy and Premier Family Physicians have partnered to offer on-demand telehealth appointments and same-day house calls. Care will be available 24/7, according to Remedy.

Both Remedy and Premier Family Physicians also offer COVID-19 testing at their physical locations. Currently, Remedy operates a Sunset Valley drive-thru testing site from inside the Toney Burger Activity Center at 3200 Jones Road as well as a walk-in clinic in downtown Austin. Premier Family Physicians has a number of offices in the Austin area, including in Westlake, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Dripping Springs and Southwest Austin.
