Penfold Theatre Co. presents: “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”
The local theater troupe will host a production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” which centers around a group of young students—protrayed by adults—who attempt to prove themselves as spellers and talented individuals.

Fairytale Threads will host the sale at the Austin Sports Center in Cedar Park. Patrons can shop clothes for newborns, children and juniors, as well as prom styles and maternity items. Books and toys for all ages will be available. Parents who are expecting or have children six months old or younger can shop the sale early by claiming a presale pass.

The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department will host its 14th annual Family Campout at Old Settlers Park. Attendees will set up a tent, eat dinner, play games and sit around a campfire eating s’mores. The event will also include a movie in the park before campers go to bed, and breakfast will be served in the morning.

The public is invited to Prete Plaza in downtown Round Rock to celebrate culture and community with a full day of live music, food and family fun. The band lineup features Laura Denisse, SEUDE, Lucky Joe, Cinco Doce, Cumbia Movement and more. Proceeds will go to support scholarships for local youth.

The K-pop-themed community event hosted by Resolution Eyecare will feature music, food and raffle prizes to help promote local businesses. SAFE will have its annual Touch-a-Truck event at Q2 Stadium. Children of all ages will be able to touch and explore fire trucks, ambulances and bulldozers. The event will feature face painting, arts and crafts, a petting zoo, bounce houses and more. VIP ticket holders will have one-hour early access to the event at 9 a.m. and be given coffee, a breakfast taco and be allowed to sit in the air-conditioned VIP section.

Real Queens Fix Each Other’s Crowns will host a candlemaking workshop in partnership with Blow Candle Co. The event will feature custom candlemaking, self-care discussion, snacks and refreshments.
