Celebration of Native Plants and Pollinators

Nonprofit organization Wild Spirit Wild Places will celebrate Pollinator Week at The Rachouse at Desert Door Distillery with guest speakers, giveaways, hands-on plant activities, live music and more.

Austin African American Book Festival

The 19th annual Austin African American Book Festival at the George Washington Carver Library and Museum will showcase local, regional and national authors, activists and historians and feature panels, book discussions, children’s storytimes and activities, vendors and more. This year's theme is "Our Stories, Our Voices," and the featured author is Walter Mosley.The Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park

The Austin Symphony Orchestra will perform these free concerts on Sunday evenings throughout June. Attendees can bring their lawn chairs and blankets to sit on the Long Center’s lawn and enjoy some jazz music, classical music and more.Tween Scene


Dripping Springs Ranch Park invites tweens to attend these weekly events on Thursday evenings throughout summer break. Each week will have a different themed activity like Nerf Wars, Water Olympics and Soccer Zorb games.Dinos in the Wild

Dinosaurs are returning to the Wildflower Center this summer at its limited-time outdoor exhibit featuring life-sized dinosaur animatronics. Guests can walk the gardens and explore the history and science behind the reptiles.
