The Mexican eatery, located at 5207 Brodie Lane, Ste. 125, Austin, in Sunset Valley Homestead, serves Tex-Mex fare such as tacos, tortas and tostadas. In addition, Cruzteca serves brunch daily until 3 p.m. The brunch menu features items such as chilaquiles con pollo, chorizo migas, Nutella mole enchiladas and more.
To celebrate its five-year anniversary, Cruzteca will offer food and drink specials, along with live music March 9.
Cruzteca is a family-owned restaurant and was started by the Galindo and Winters families after opening a food truck on South First Street called Mellizoz Tacos in 2008. Ten years later, the two families opened Cruzteca and have served made-to-order food and salsa from scratch ever since.
