Travis County reported 183 new coronavirus cases June 25 and announced new county restrictions on gatherings and get-togethers through July 10.

According to the updated county order issued by Travis County Judge Sam Biscoe, outdoor gatherings of 100 people or more are now prohibited except as permitted by orders issued by Gov. Greg Abbott.

The order also states that county residents should avoid socializing in groups of 10 people or greater who are not part of the same household.

Certain large gatherings are still permissible under state orders, including at sporting events, swimming pools, museums and other similar attractions.

Overall, the county has seen a total of 7,097 coronavirus cases, with 116 deaths and 5,076 estimated recoveries.
