Sonder Coffee Lounge, located in Driftwood, opened in September. The coffee lounge is owned by Brandy and Matt Stone, serving coffee sourced from Washington state by Blue Star and pastries from Austin bakery Teal House.
The lounge is designed to feel like “your best friend’s living room,” Brandy Stone said, and consists of couches, plants, crystals, throw pillows and blankets. Sonder will host events such as vendor pop-ups, yoga and meetups.

“We are big believers that your business should be a reflection of its owners, so when our customers come into our coffee shop, we want them to get a feel for who we are and what we are hoping to accomplish here,” Brandy Stone said. “We don’t want to be just another coffee shop owned by a stranger you will probably never know or see.”
