The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is seeking community input ahead of approving its 2025-28 Transportation Improvement Program and an amendment to its 2045 Regional Transportation Plan.

Terms to know
  • CAMPO serves as the regional transportation planning organization for the area, including Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Burnet and Caldwell counties.
  • The TIP includes dozens of projects that will begin construction by 2028 and whose funding has already been secured through the Federal Highway Administration or the Texas Department of Transportation.
  • The RTP is a long-range plan that includes studies and projects that aim to improve roads, transit, biking and walking in the metro over the next 25 years.

CAMPO will hold six open houses across the Austin area from 4-7 p.m:
  • March 26 in Lockhart
  • March 27 in Buda
  • March 28 in Austin
  • April 2 in Cedar Creek
  • April 3 in Marble Falls
  • April 4 in Cedar Park
