Data from the Austin Board of Realtors shows that in the Central Austin market shows a fluctuation in home sales, home prices and days on the market for March compared to last year.

The number of home sales dropped in seven of the 12 ZIP codes in the Central Austin market, with the biggest percent decrease in 78752.The median home prices also dropped year over year across eight of the ZIP codes. The biggest change happened in 78703; however, the change was an increase for 2024 compared to last year.Some ZIP codes, such as 78701, 78703, 78704 and 78756, had homes on the market longer this year than last.
