Georgetown’s Two Step Inn 2025 lineup: Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more

The lineup for Two Step Inn’s 2025 festival, happening April 5-6 in Georgetown, was released Oct. 23. Alan Jackson and Miranda Lambert will headline Saturday, April 5, while Lynyrd Skynyrd and Sturgill Simpson will perform Sunday, April 6.

Supportive housing facility for seniors exiting homelessness opens in far Northwest Austin

Pecan Gardens, a supportive housing development that provides long-term housing for people age 55 and up exiting homelessness, is now open at 10813 Pecan Park Blvd., Austin. Owned by the Austin Housing Finance Corporation and managed and operated by Family Eldercare, the 2-acre property began renting studio apartments to people in August, according to a news release from the city of Austin’s Housing Department.

TxDOT announces highway closures for Segment 2 of Loop 1604 project


As part of Segment 2 of the Loop 1604 North Expansion project, the Texas Department of Transportation has confirmed a series of highway closures at the Loop 1604 and I-10 interchange from Oct. 25-Nov. 25 for the installation of steel beams.
