Spanish food truck Austhentico will relocate from its post on Menchaca Road to downtown Belgian bar Mort Subite in June.

On the menu

Austhentico’s menu features authentic Spanish dishes, including croquettes, Paella and Fideau, a dish similar to Paella that is made with noodles instead of rice.

The menu also includes several sandwiches served on baguettes, such as the Jamon Serrano with Spanish ham and Manchego cheese, and the Pepito de Ternera with beef loin steak and caramelized onions.

Austhentico’s new menu will also include several Belgian-inspired items.

The backstory

The truck is owned by two chefs, Luis Felez from Barcelona and Sarai Salazar from Mexico City. The pair started Austhentico as a catering service in 2019 and opened the food truck in 2023.
