Owner Lynde Mitchell and co-founder Jess Morrisey will open their flagship retail shop for Golden Eye Chocolates in North Austin on Jan. 27.

In a nutshell

Since 2021, Mitchell and Morrisey have operated Golden Eye Chocolates available only for pickup out of a shared commercial kitchen space in South Austin. Although the South Austin kitchen will remain open, customers will now have the option to explore Golden Eye Chocolates at the brick-and-mortar retail shop in North Austin. To celebrate the opening, Mitchell and Morrisey will host a grand opening event Jan. 27.

The details

The party will happen at 3010 W. Anderson Lane, Ste. E, Austin, from noon-6 p.m., with complementary chocolate tastings, drinks, music and more.

Those who plan to attend are encouraged to RSVP online.

What's on the menu

Using a mixture of European and American chocolate, Golden Eye Chocolates' treats are all handmade in small batches with flavors ranging from classic to unique.

At the new space, shoppers can choose from a variety of treats, such as assortments, party trays, single-origin, cocktail-infused and more.

Seasonal and limited-release chocolates are available throughout the year. In December, Golden Eye Chocolates released a Taylor Swift-themed collection including bonbons, such as Lavender Haze with lemon jam, lavender ganache and white chocolate; and Champagne Problems with strawberry champagne ganache and a ruby chocolate popping shell.

In addition to bonbons, Golden Eye Chocolates offers other confections, such as:What else?

A flavor guide is available to help customers select what they want, with the option to order custom flavors and designs.
