CASA 2024 Gift Drive

CASA of Central Texas invites local organizations and individuals to get gifts for children in need. Volunteers can select a child and shop for items on their wishlist. Gifts may be delivered to the CASA office in San Marcos or New Braunfels.‘A Christmas Carol’

The Chambers Theatre at the Inspired Minds Art Center will present “A Christmas Carol.” Join Ebenezer Scrooge on his encounters with the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future.Peppermint Parkway

Circuit of the Americas will present its annual mile-long holiday lights drive-thru featuring millions of holiday lights, dancing characters and more. The accompanying Peppermint Plaza will have more holiday activities, food and sweets.Western Wonderland


Dripping Springs Ranch Park will host its annual Western Wonderland with an ice skating rink, holiday market, light trail and more.Ford Holiday River Parade

The 43rd annual Ford Holiday River Parade will bring illuminated floats and over 100,000 holiday lights to the San Antonio River Walk.Gobble Wobble Turkey Trot 5K/10K/13.1

This race takes place at Brushy Creek Lake Park in Cedar Park, featuring 5K, 10K and half marathon options.

Shop Small Business Saturday and Coffee and Cocoa Crawl

Guests can enjoy coffee or cocoa while shopping at local businesses, and partake in shopping and dining specials. Attendees will take home a keepsake mug and receive 10 samples throughout the event.

Wassail Fest and Small Business Saturday


The city of Bastrop Main Street Program will host the Lost Pines Christmas event where participants can taste homemade wassail, enjoy holiday treats and shop from local businesses.Zilker Tree Lighting

The city of Austin will host its annual holiday tree lighting ceremony at Zilker Park. There will be food, music and performances from the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble. The tree will stay up through Jan. 1.
