Sunroom, the women’s clothing and accessory shop founded by Lucy Jolis in 2013, has closed its Austin location within the South Congress Hotel.

This comes on the heels of several other closures on the South Congress Avenue strip, most recently including Good Company, as previously reported by Community Impact.

The announcement was made May 19 in a bulletin on the Sunroom website.

"While our physical Austin store won't be here anymore, we promise we're not going anywhere," the bulletin said. "[W]e'll continue to seek out your next favorite designer—we'll tell their stories and share their collections with you in our online shop, over text, in our newsletters."

The Malibu, California location of Sunroom will be relocating as well but will remain open, along with the website.


Representatives for the store did not respond for comments as of press time.
