Some of the activities during the event will include:

Officials said shoppers will be offered other freebies during the celebration including:
- Oct. 13-14: The first 200 shoppers will receive a free reusable shopping tote filled with product samples.
- Oct. 14, 11 a.m.: Free Boar's Head hot dogs and Kettle Brand potato chips will be served.

Sprouts encourages healthy eating by stocking its stores with farm-to-table foods from local producers with organic, plant-based and gluten-free options, officials said in the news release.
One more thing
The new store will participate in the Sprouts Food Rescue program, which allows store officials to donate groceries that are unable to be sold but still viable to Central Texas Food Bank.
Food that is no longer fit for donating to hunger-relief agencies will be diverted to either local cattle farms or compost facilities, according to the website.
