RM 967 deceleration lanes
Project: The project will add deceleration lanes to RM 967 in two locations: Garlic Creek Drive/Remuda Trail and Garlic Creek Drive/Grove Lane.

Project: The full-depth road reconstruction project will include drainage, water, wastewater, retaining walls and sidewalk improvements, according to the city of San Marcos Capital Improvement Project map.
Update: At 60% design phase with acquisition process in the works

- Funding sources: Capital Improvement Program; city water, wastewater, drainage, electric and general funds
Project: The reconstruction of Austin Street from FM 2770 to San Antonio Street will include on-street parking, sidewalks and stormwater management features.

- Cost: $6.76 million
- Funding source: 2021 Buda bond
Old Bastrop Highway widening
Project: The project will widen Old Bastrop Highway from Centerpoint Road to Rattler Road and add a 16-inch water main.
Update: Water main installed in September, waterline crossing at Centerpoint Road underway

- Funding source: 2025 road project certificates of obligation
Project: The project will widen Old Stagecoach Road and Center Street into a continuous four-lane road from FM 2770 to FM 150. Work will be completed in three parts: the north portion of Old Stagecoach Road from FM 2770 to Six Creeks Boulevard, Old Stagecoach Road from Six Creeks Boulevard to Center Street and Center Street from Old Stagecoach Road to FM 150.
Update: 70% complete, with ongoing work to expand it to four lanes and install roundabouts at Six Creeks and Center Street

- Cost: $41.2 million
- Funding source: 2022 Kyle Road bond
Project: The 1.3-mile project will connect Bunton Creek Road to Dacy Lane, utilizing four lanes with four roundabouts.
