Representatives for the Gill's Chicken 'n' More location at 714 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, announced Nov. 19 the site would close permanently due to complications arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. The location had been closed since April due to pandemic restrictions, but it was not until late November that management decided to make the closure permanent.
