What’s next

According to the Hays County website, the tax rate cannot be finalized until after the Nov. 4 election results are certified due to the state of Texas propositions 11 and 13 and the Hays CISD voter-approval tax rate election.

While property tax statements usually go out in October, they will be issued in mid-to-late November this year, according to a Hays County post on X.
