Why are you running for this office, and what’s the central issue you’re hoping to address?
I believe I can create a solid, trustworthy connection between residents and the city. I believe through continued hard work I can build trust in our government which will provide our residents with an opportunity to focus on other matters in their lives. Infrastructure has been a key focus for...
What infrastructure projects would you like to see prioritized in the next term?
I would like the city to secure reliable access to water for all residents. Resources are scarce and conservation is a must. Conservation can begin by incorporating and enforcing the 2023 Kyle Reclaimed Water Master Plan (reusable water for specific use). Additionally, Kyle will need to upgrade its wastewater system...
If elected, how do you plan to address future growth?
Future growth starts with fiscal responsibility, to ensure we can pay for projects without creating a financial hardship for our residents. I believe the issue of growth will include a deep dive in the form of an audit into our city’s limited resources, such as water, wastewater capacity, and roads...
How do you plan to involve residents in the decision-making process?
Personal engagement has always been a priority for me. While in office from 2020-2023, I used direct communication via email and phone calls to connect with residents, as well as visits to their homes (with staff) to discuss issues that needed to be addressed. I’ve also spoken to residents with...
How do you approach collaboration with the City Council and other stakeholders?

Why are you running for this office, and what’s the central issue you’re hoping to address?
There is no doubt Kyle is growing, and Kyle needs trusted, experienced leadership who knows how to operate efficiently and get things done for residents and ensure we have the infrastructure necessary to manage this growth. This means investing in our roads and water supply and managing ongoing projects effectively.
What infrastructure projects would you like to see prioritized in the next term?
The number one priority is our roads. Kyle passed a nearly $300 million road bond for over 10 miles of road improvements, and will receive nearly $200 million from the county road bond. Bond dollars don’t increase, but construction costs do. I will see that this money is utilized efficiently.
If elected, how do you plan to address future growth?
The state legislature has hampered cities' ability to control growth, but we can help facilitate growth in the right direction to serve all residents. This means making sure developers pay their fair share for community improvements, and don’t just build and never look back.
How do you plan to involve residents in the decision-making process?
During my time on council, we have invested in and greatly improved our communications department to get more information out to residents in a concise and timely manner. Transparent Government is very important to me, and being actively engaged in the community will allow for more productive conversations.
How do you approach collaboration with the City Council and other stakeholders?
I have built trust and great relationships with local, state, and federal partners. I know what Kyle needs, and I know how to get things done effectively. My work has helped bring in millions of dollars for road and water improvements, and I hope to continue this as Mayor.

Why are you running for this office, and what’s the central issue you’re hoping to address?
I am running for Mayor because I CARE. As a nurse, I know that compassion and leadership go hand in hand. I bring a unique clinical perspective to city leadership, one rooted in service, safety, and advocacy. I support the legalization of marijuana from a medicinal standpoint.
What infrastructure projects would you like to see prioritized in the next term?
I will be a champion for safe roads and sidewalks that make Kyle a better place to live. No child should ride a school bus over poorly funded, dangerous roads that risk sinkholes, and no family should lose a loved one in a preventable hit-and-run where a sidewalk could have...
If elected, how do you plan to address future growth?
I would handle the growth by listening first, listening to residents, to experts, and to the needs of the community. Then applying strategic planning to ensure growth is thoughtful and sustainable. This means investing in environmental sustainability, protecting resources for future generations, and making sure development improves quality of life...
How do you plan to involve residents in the decision-making process?
I believe that the people’s voice is essential to good governance. As Mayor, I would actively involve residents in decision-making by eagerly seeking their input through town halls, surveys, and citizen-led committees. By creating and empowering watchdog groups and other community-driven initiatives, we ensure that every resident has a meaningful...
How do you approach collaboration with the City Council and other stakeholders?
As Mayor, I will approach collaboration with City Council and stakeholders with a true heart to listen and welcome all perspectives. I will ensure working committees include members from different sides, because diverse voices make us stronger. My focus will be on fostering unity and pride in our community, knowing...

Why are you running for this office, and what’s the central issue you’re hoping to address?
I am running for Mayor of Kyle to ensure rapid growth benefits our community. My focus is sustainable economic growth by attracting businesses that provide well-paying jobs and expanding our tax base. With smart planning, accountability, and resident input, we can strengthen infrastructure, improve public safety, and protect Kyle’s quality...
What infrastructure projects would you like to see prioritized in the next term?
The most urgent infrastructure needs in Kyle are roads and the water system. Growth has strained both, creating congestion and risk. I will prioritize safer, improved roads and modernized water systems to support families, businesses, and development, ensuring sustainable growth while protecting residents’ quality of life.
If elected, how do you plan to address future growth?
Kyle is one of Texas’s fastest-growing cities, and managing growth responsibly is critical. I will pursue smart, sustainable planning by attracting quality jobs, holding developers accountable, and investing in infrastructure and public safety—ensuring growth benefits residents while protecting our small-town character and building a strong future for families and businesses.
How do you plan to involve residents in the decision-making process?
I believe the best decisions come from listening to residents. I will hold town halls, expand public comment, and use social media, newsletters, and local media to share information and gather feedback, ensuring accessibility and open communication so decisions reflect Kyle’s values, needs, and community priorities.
How do you approach collaboration with the City Council and other stakeholders?
Effective leadership requires respect, communication, and shared goals. I will collaborate with the City Council, organizations, and stakeholders by fostering open dialogue, listening first, and finding common ground. Through transparency and strong relationships, we can make decisions that reflect residents’ best interests and build a unified vision for Kyle’s future.
