Early voting in the special election will take place between Jan. 8-21; the Hays CISD administration building will the the sole polling location for both early voting and Election Day. Length of residency in Kyle: 15 Years

Why are you running? I was raised in Kyle, and my family has always been very active in the community. I have decided to run for City Council because I have deep passion for service and would look forward to the opportunity to serve my community.

What do you believe is the greatest challenge facing the city? I believe our greatest challenge is keeping up with the rapid growth that our city is experiencing. In addition, we must address concerns with infrastructure and public safety.

Length of residency in Kyle: I have lived in Kyle for over 12 years. We chose District 6 a little more than three years ago to call home.

Why are you running? To be the voice District 6 can count on to help build a community we all want to be part of. Living in Kyle for the time I have, volunteering within the community and being a vocal advocate for my neighborhood have prepared me to serve on council. I see the District 6 space as an opportunity to be the voice for my community in a meaningful way using my past experience as a bonus for voters in Kyle.

What do you believe is the greatest challenge facing the city?

I believe our biggest challenge is keeping our identity as a close knit and caring town while helping make sure that we grow in a manner that respects the past while ensuring that we lower the burden of local residential taxpayers.
