San Marcos City Council welcomed new and re-elected City Council members during a swearing ceremony on Nov. 18.
Re-elected Council Member Saul Gonzales kept his seat for Place 2 with 59.58% of votes in three-way race against LMC (Lisa Marie Coppoletta) and Devin Barrett.
New City Council Member Maxfield Baker won the Place 1 seat in a tight race against Mark Gleason, taking the victory by only 30 votes.
