The announcement of the relocation of Valentina's was initially announced in early 2021 and was anticipated to open in 2022, as previously reported by Community Impact.
The new restaurant space will be around 6,500 square feet, enough to accommodate around 235 customers. The new space will also have a full-service bar.
The city of Buda and the Buda Economic Development Corp. have partnered with and invested $228,707 in the business for equipment purchases and other necessities to create jobs for the community.
“Bringing our BBQ to Buda just felt right,” owner and pitmaster Miguel Vidal said in a statement. “With the city's support, our family can't wait to open our doors this summer.”
Valentina's Tex Mex BBQ is known for its barbecue by the pound, sandwiches, tacos and more.
