The multifamily development received approval from the planning and zoning commission as well as City Council primarily in 2021 with some finalization in 2022.
The company hopes to receive its site development permit in early 2023 and begin site work shortly thereafter, Long View Equity Associate Jacob Clark told Community Impact.
Clark added that they will be offering the San Marcos police and fire departments access to the site for training while working through the permitting and design process.
The complex will have around 10 buildings throughout with one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Other amenities will include a pool, cabana and dog park.
The project will be built on 12.75 acres and is projected to be completed in early 2025.
