Kyle City Council voted unanimously to annex 29.7 acres of land south of Lehman High School as part of an existing development agreement.

The unanimous approval came during council’s Dec. 15 meeting and involves Section 5 of the Cassetta Ranch subdivision.

A city document states the applicant, who is acting on behalf of Brohn Homes, submitted the annexation request as part of a development agreement with the city of Kyle going back to June.

Brohn Homes now has 30 days to submit a rezoning application to the city, according to the document.

No street address has yet been assigned to the property, but the agricultural land lies closest to Bunton Creek Road and borders the southern boundary of Lehman High School.
