More than $300,000 in grants have gone to approximately 70 local businesses as part of the Still Budaful stimulus program, according to the city.

The local economic development program was formed by the city in April after the creation of a small business task force to research ways to help local businesses.

The city of Buda and the Buda Economic Development Corp. approved $380,000 in funding for the program, allowing businesses to apply for a stimulus grant, hotel occupancy tax payment deferral and forgiveness and Buda emergency co-marketing grant programs.

Applications are still being accepted for funding at www.stillbudaful.org.
