An additional five lab-confirmed cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Hays County as of 4 p.m. April 6, totaling 59 cases.
The latest reports from the county show San Marcos and Kyle have 20 confirmed cases, and the city of Buda is climbing to double digits with 12 cases.

Hays County has 54 confirmed cases of coronavirus as of 9 p.m. April 5. Of those, 41 cases are active and 13 patients have recovered.
Two people with coronavirus remain hospitalized and 404 tests have been administered in the county of approximately 230,000 residents.
Those who have tested positive include 16 people who are 50-59 years of age. Eleven are 30-39. Cases range from 10-79 years old, according to information from the county.
