Proof Liquor & Deli is now under new ownership.

The shop held a grand reopening celebration with a ribbon-cutting Oct. 19 to welcome its new owners John and Rebecca Hatch.

According to an Instagram post, the husband-and-wife duo are longtime Buda residents who have plans to expand the store's liquor and wine offerings.

Aside from alcohol, the shop also offers hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads, and house-made desserts.
